CRRA Program
About
Through the CRRA Program, Atla offers Catholic-focused programming and networking for libraries, archives and other institutions through support and growth of the resources founded by CRRA and development of new initiatives with the input and guidance of its members and participants.
The CRRA Program incorporates the Catholic News Archive, the Catholic Portal, CRRA LibGuides, CRRA annual reports, newsletter, blog, and exhibit archives and other valuable content links for Catholic-focused research and support for libraries, archives, and cultural heritage institutions.
The Catholic Research Resources Alliance (CRRA) was founded in 2008 as a membership alliance of institutions committed to delivering projects and services in support of its mission to create enduring permanent global access to Catholic resources in the Americas. In 2023, CRRA members voted to dissolve and CRRA resources formally became a program of Atla.

Catholic Portal
The Catholic Portal provides global, freely available access to rare, unique and/or uncommon materials in libraries, seminaries, special collections and archives. By electronically bringing together resources in many formats from many collections, the Portal enables easy, effective and global discovery of Catholic research resources.
Access the Catholic Portal.
LibGuides
Atla LibGuides include CRRA curated LibGuides as well as guides for using the Catholic Portal and Catholic News Archive. Search by subject and select “CRRA” for a complete list.
CRRA Annual Reports, Newsletter, Blog, and Exhibit Archives
Publications of the CRRA will be included in Atla’s Institutional Repository.
