- Conexión Queer: Revista Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Teologías Queer, published by University of San Francisco, is a peer-reviewed academic online journal that is published yearly. It welcomes contributions from both established and younger scholars working on the intersection of religion, gender, and sexuality. This journal often publishes articles with a globalized focus as well as contributions at the cutting edge of theoretical debates that would address particularities in different parts of the world, thus giving a voice to new experiences and analysis. The journal is intentionally interested in scholarly works from Latin America and the Caribbean as well as Asia, Oceania, and Africa, which would enrich and nurture both dialogue and collaboration with queer theologies on a global scale.
- Pastoral Care in Education: An International Journal of Personal, Social and Emotional Development, published by Taylor & Francis, is directed at all teachers, professionals, researchers, and academics who are concerned with the personal, social development, education, and care of all pupils across the curriculum. The journal tackles important contemporary issues such as current developments in the curriculum – citizenship, health, social and moral education; managing behavior; whole school approaches; school structures; as well as issues of care – school exclusion, bullying, and emotional development. Approaches to personal/social education, pastoral care and the counselling and care of students all come within its remit.
- Oyasato Institute Annual Report, published by Oyasato Research Institute for Religion, Tenri University, is the yearly report of the activities of the research institute, formerly known as the Tenrikyo Research Institute for Asian Cultures. The institute was established in order to examine and research religions and religious affairs of Asia.
- Discernment: Theology and the Practice of Ministry, published by Abilene Christian University, is a peer-reviewed digital journal that encourages effective ministerial practice by making practical theology accessible to the church. It is comprised of essays that engage rigorous theoretical and theological reflection with contextually sensitive ministerial action. The articles published in the journal present work describing ministry in a broad array of contexts such as: congregational life; a particular ministry within a congregation (such as children’s ministry); mission contexts; ministry in cross-cultural settings; or Christian ministry in an extra-congregational environment (such as disaster relief or care for the poor)
- Catholic Southwest: A Journal of History and Culture, published by Texas Catholic Historical Society, began in 1990 as The Journal of Texas Catholic History and Culture. A publication of the Texas Catholic Historical Society, the journal features essays on aspects of the Roman Catholic heritage of Texas and the Southwest, focusing not only on history, but on the Catholic experience expressed through art, architecture, literature, music, and other related subjects.
- Salt: Crossroads of Religion and Culture, published by Maistros Publications, is a new scholarly journal in theology that aspires to meet at the crossroads of religion and culture. It is a peer-reviewed Orthodox Journal of cross-cultural theology, dialogue, and mission. It works toward a plurality of aspects and viewpoints in our theological scholarship. Peoples and cultures welcomed into the Church have their own valuable backgrounds, and they should also have the possibility to make their voice heard, meet with others, increase in self-awareness, and enrich the Orthodox Church with the gift of their civilization, language, art, customs, and culture.
- Sponsa Regis, published by Liturgical Press, is the preceding title for the journal that later became known as Sisters Today. In its time, it was the longest-running chronicle of women’s consecrated religious life in North America and is notable for having served as both a scholarly and civic publication for the community it served. Operating partially as a bulletin, it kept sisters apprised of what was happening in their communities, both at home and abroad.

- The Journal of Biblical Pentecostalism, published by Bridges Christian College, is an online, peer-reviewed academic journal for scholars, pastors, and missionaries. It presents biblical exegesis, ministerial training literature, and research of church history through a Pentecostal hermeneutic. This journal has the following goals: to present exegesis of the Scriptures with a Pentecostal hermeneutic to help the church understand the Bible and its theological principles, to demonstrate the unity of the Scriptures through intertextual interpretation of the Old Testament and New Testament, to apply Scriptural principles to a Pentecostal, practical ministry environment, and to present research of the roots and traditions of the Pentecostal movement throughout church history.
- Journal for Interdisciplinary Biblical Studies, published by the University of Sheffield, is an open access that invites cutting-edge articles that embody interdisciplinary, social justice-oriented, feminist, queer, and innovative biblical scholarship. They welcome submissions that challenge canonical and/or disciplinary norms and boundaries or that query the field of biblical studies’ relationship to the broader investigation of human religion, culture, and literature.

It has been published continuously since 1950 and exists firstly to serve those directly involved in Bible translation, aiming to encourage sharing of the results of their research and records of their practice. It exists also to provide a forum for a wider community of scholars and students interested in a range of disciplines which influence the translation of the Bible, and encourages engagement between scholars and translators.
