CRRA Program Committee
The CRRA Program Committee will evaluate the scope and use of CRRA Program services and information resources and advise Atla on development of existing or new services and resources to address unmet research needs of the Catholic library community and the constituents it serves. Further, the CRRA Program Committee will create a strong community within Atla, fostering an environment for program participants to connect and collaborate with each other, and encouraging additional Catholic libraries and other eligible institutions to participate in the Atla CRRA Program. The committee shall accomplish this exploring, developing, and promoting opportunities as follows:
- Propose, create, maintain, advocate for, and advance digital initiatives that are stewarded by Atla to further discovery, access, and use globally of freely available collections of Catholic research resources.
- Facilitate the development of or otherwise identify funding opportunities that support Atla CRRA Program participants in sharing Catholic research resources and scholarship.
- Support Atla’s development of professional education and other training offerings, as well as networking opportunities, for the Catholic library community.
- Create and promote educational resources and tools that explore topics of Catholic identity and interest and assist searchers and researchers in finding relevant information.
- Facilitate the sharing of resources and scholarship internationally.
