Atla Annual is an opportunity to connect with other librarians, students, and researchers in the field of religion and theology. In addition to educational sessions, we offer in-person-only breakfast events that allow attendees to learn about latest product updates and news while enjoying a complimentary breakfast.

Atla Product Breakfast: Updates From Your Guide to World Religions

Come hear from Atla’s Products team for updates on content and scope of our trusted research tools for the scholarly study of religion and theology, including Atla Religion Database^® (Atla RDB^®)—the premier index in all fields of religion, as well as AtlaSerials^® (Atlas^®), and AtlaSerials PLUS^® (Atlas PLUS^®)—the go-to full-text collections of journals in diverse areas of religion and theology.

The update will include a presentation by Lianghao Liu, an Atla Metadata Editor and Subject Matter Expert on Asian religion and philosophy. Lianghao will discuss several journals that he indexes on these topics and how they complement the broader geographical coverage and wider audience in our database. We will also hold an interactive Q&A session.

OCLC Update Breakfast: What’s New and What’s News

If you’ll be at Atla Annual 2024, we’d love for you to join us for the OCLC update breakfast. You’ll get a quick introduction to OCLC, and then hear about new services, features, research, and opportunities within the cooperative. You’ll find out about WorldShare Management Services—our fully integrated library services platform—as well as analytics products like Choreo Insights ​​and GreenGlass, digital collections management with CONTENTdm, and how EZproxy can streamline access to your e-resources. And we’ll finish off with an update on what’s happening with OCLC’s exciting linked data strategy and services. There will be a limit of 30 attendees at this breakfast.
