Introduction:
Theological Librarianship is an online, open-access journal, which is published twice a year by the American Theological Library Association. The journal publishes essays, columns, critical reviews, bibliographic essays, and peer-reviewed articles on various aspects of theological librarianship and its contribution to theological education.
Responsibilities:
The section editor for Bibliographic Essays is responsible for soliciting contributions and for managing the editorial process for bibliographic essays. The journal publishes bibliographic essays that survey and assess the literature on various topics related to the study of theology and religion, and thus facilitate theological education, research in religion, and informational reading.
As a member of the editorial board, the section editor will also help to develop an advisory board and network of peer-reviewers, contribute to the overall direction and structure of the journal, and help to oversee the general editorial process. A small stipend is paid to the editor with the publication of each issue.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Principal of Saint Mark’s College, the Head Librarian plans and coordinates the development and maintenance of collections that support the programs offered by Saint Mark’s College and Corpus Christi College, the Catholic theological and liberal arts colleges at the University of British Columbia. The Colleges also provide Catholic campus ministry services to the UBC community. The Dr. John Micallef Memorial Library holds some 40,000 volumes and is the largest public Catholic library in the province. Duties and Responsibilities:
Lesley University seeks a collaborative librarian for the position of EDS (Episcopal Divinity School) Collection Services Librarian. This is a half-time position with benefits. Under the daily supervision of the Head of Collection Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for original and complex copy cataloging of theology materials at the Sherrill Library, as well as oversight for copy cataloging, database holdings maintenance, and related work. S/he will supervise student staff in collection services activities. Under the direction of the EDS Senior Assistant Director, the incumbent will participate in weekly reference service and collaborate on collection development in a specific subject area.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Masters Degree in Information or Library Science from a U.S. accredited graduate school; 3-4 years cataloging or copy cataloging experience; excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills; creativity and adaptability; knowledge of and experience with one or more modules of a library management

The Burke Library at the Union Theological Seminary (Columbia University)
seeks an experienced Archivist to process the New York Theological
Seminary (NYTS) Archives, the Lindquist Collection of Native American
Photographs, and related collections at the Burke Theological Library.
Working under the Burke Library Director, the archivist will be
responsible for arranging, describing, and preserving these archival
collections.
The Burke Library, one of the largest theological libraries in the world, contains rich collections for theological study and research. With holdings of over 700,000 items, the Library is recognized as one of the premier libraries in its field, and includes extensive holdings of unique and special materials.
The mission of The Burke Library is to identify, acquire, organize,
provide access to, interpret, and preserve information in the field of
theology and contextually related areas of study. The Library
supports the specific instructional and research needs of
Position Summary:
The archivist will be responsible for the physical processing of part of
the NYTS Archives, and the Lindquist Native American photographs to
professional standards of arrangement and description in coordination with
the Union Theological Seminary archivist, graduate student interns, other
colleagues, and assistants. Additional duties include providing reference
and reader services for the NYTS and other archival collections at the
Burke Library, developing online exhibitions and other outreach resources
related to the NYTS archives, answering reference inquiries, and providing
research assistance. The incumbent will supervise students as needed.
Schedule:
